USI RV Park

If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy a peaceful night or two in Wichita, USI RV Park is well worth a look. Located on the city's northeastern side, this well-kept park is convenient, easy to access, and pet-friendly.

Tucked away in an industrial area, the 20-acre park offers 79 campsites spread around a gravel lot. The pull-through sites are reasonably easy to access but are a little close together, while all essential facilities are easy to access.

Daily rates range from $37 to $50, while an additional electrical usage charge may apply. Sites are level and there are also numerous trees spread throughout the park to offer shade. You may notice some noise from the nearby highway, but nothing too disconcerting or annoying.

Free WiFi is provided, and there's a rec hall where campers can gather and get social. The restrooms and showers in USI RV Park are also maintained in pristine condition, while the park's laundry is open 24/7. There's also an on-site general store that stocks a few essentials, RV supplies, and Kansas souvenirs.

The park provides easy access to all of Wichita's major attractions -- the heart of the city is a six-mile drive away -- and is always clean and reasonably quiet. It's not really the sort of park you could describe as a destination in itself, but it's perfectly suited to anyone passing through Wichita or who may need to stay in the city for a night or three.

Dogs are welcome in USI RV Park but with a couple of conditions attached. Please note that you'll need to get approval for your pet before visiting this park, and you'll need to register your dog at the office upon arrival. A refundable deposit will be required for some pets, and you'll also need to clean up after your dog at all times.

The good news is that there's a designated fenced dog area for four-legged guests as well as a grassy field where your pooch can stretch their legs. So if you and your pooch are looking for somewhere to stay in Wichita, USI RV Park might just be the paw-fect spot.
