Description

Village of Trees Campground is an outdoor camping retreat which, as its name suggests, is situated among the trees in Declo, Idaho. This dog-friendly campground is perfect for pet owners who are looking for a relaxing outdoor getaway with their pooch.

For individuals interested in "ruffing" it with their pup, primitive tent sites are available for only $19 a day. Tent sites are in a separate tenting area, creating an authentic outdoor experience. Sites are spacious and located in a forested area where campers can enjoy lots of shade.

If you're looking to modernize your stay in an RV, sites with full hookup services are offered for a higher rate of $32. Both weekly and monthly rates are available as well. Cabins can be rented if you don't have your own gear, but only for those who are looking to leave Fido behind as they're not pet-friendly. All cabins are situated near the water and offer views of Snake River.

You and your pooch can enjoy hiking on the 10+ mile trail that runs along and around the Caldron Inn Canyon, also known as the Snake River Canyon. The hiking trail is paved and therefore easy to navigate. On your walk, you and your pooch can check out the access points that allow you to view the two stunning waterfalls pouring into the river. If you'd prefer to stay in the campground, there's a groomed nature trail the takes you through the forested area of the grounds. Here, you may be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of wildlife such as antelope, deer, squirrel, fox, elk, and much more.

Other ways for you to spend your day include fishing in the catch-and-release pond or visiting Snake River, where you can partake in swimming, fishing, and boating. A heated pool is another option for swimming, and stocking up on last-minute necessities is made simple at the campground store.

Village of Trees offers campers a village-like experience within the woods. Not only is this campground located right along the Snake River, giving you and your pooch access to a variety of water attractions, but the campground itself is full of modern perks to ensure you have a “pawsitive" experience!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
