Description

Waffle Farm Campgrounds, nestled between Craig Lake and Morrison Lake of the Randall lake chain, is a popular camping destination near Coldwater, Michigan. This seasonal campground is often full and bustling with campers, so most spots will be taken during peak season in the summer months.

The campground is comprised of two distinct parts – the main campsite with 225 sites and a seasonal ground with another 155 sites. Sites can be rented per day, weekend, week, or seasonally and the site amenities vary, including anything from primitive sites to full hookup sites. All seasonal sites are full hookups with prime location on the waterfront. All sites (except primitive ones) come with 60 channel cable TV and Wi-Fi. There is also a designated tent-only area with 25 sites. It's important to note that the waterfront sites are very close together, but each has a table at site.

Waffle Farm’s location on the Randall chain of lakes makes it popular for boating, fishing, and watersports. Watersports are best enjoyed on the Morrison and Randall lakes, while other lakes are best suited for scenic views and fishing.

Amenities on the grounds include a camp store, showers, restrooms, laundry facilities, and a dump station. There are several playgrounds and a basketball court, an arcade, and mini golf is available. Sites away from the waterfront have a dedicated lake access area, and a new boat ramp supports up to two boat launches at the same time. A dedicated fish cleaning area makes it easy to prepare freshly-caught lunch. Those who wish to cool off from hot, summer days will enjoy the well-maintained swimming beach.

This is a pet-friendly campsite, so you can bring your dog along. While on the camping grounds, your dog will have to be leashed and on their best behavior. There are some restrictions on the breeds, but it's best to call ahead and ask about those or any other type of restrictions. Excessive barking is not allowed because it would disturb other campers and make sure to bring pet supplies with you and pick up after your dog.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
