There's a lot to be said for the relaxation provided by being able to camp beside a running river, while the surrounding mountainous terrain creates an impressive backdrop. The park features 52 sites and teepee camping rentals spread around a quiet and scenic campground.

30-amp and 50-amp services are available, with full and partial hookups on offer for RVs and trailers. Sites start from $37 a day. Tent sites ($16 a day) are also available for those seeking a slightly more rustic camping experience, while the bathrooms are modern and clean. A boat launch is also provided if you want to get out on the river.

While wireless internet is available, the park's location in a valley surrounded by mountains means reception is patchy. As a result, there's a free high-speed Wi-Fi hotspot provided in the lodge, which also boasts an open fireplace and is a popular spot for card games and other social gatherings. There's even an on-site gift shop with an eclectic collection of art, jewelry, collectibles, food, alcohol, and RV supplies.
