West Cork Campground is located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The campground is part of San Juan National Forest. In the campground, there are 27 campsites for you to choose from. However, only 15 are able to be reserved. The other 13 campsites are only available on a first-come, first-served basis. West Cork welcomes both tent and RV campers. It's important to note, though, that not all of the campsites are designed to fit large RVs. If you have concerns about whether or not your RV will properly fit, just reach out to the campground host, who will be glad to assist you! Toilets and drinking water are available, but showers are not. Firewood to use at your campsite is available for purchase by the bundle.
There's plenty to do at West Cork Campground. Fishing is a pupular pastime at the camp, which is ideally situated by the San Juan River. If you're willing to venture away from the campgrounds a bit, there are also trailheads nearby so you can take a hike. One nearby launch lends out rafts, so you and your family can spend a day out on the water. We can't think of a better way to pass the time!
Your dog is welcome to join you while you're out camping. In fact, we bet they'd be the furfect companion. Fido does have to be on a leash at all times. Waste bags aren't provided by the campsite, and, of course, they do require you clean up after your pup, so make sure to bring some materials from home.
West Cork Campground is a small, secluded campground that's just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from it all -- except for your canine companion, of course -- make sure to pay West Cork a visit!
