Description

Although a relatively new RV park, the owners are seasoned RVers who have traveled the length and breadth of the country. Taking everything they learned along the way, they made their dreams come true with the creation of Windhaven RV Resort, an exclusive campground where you can park up the RV right in front of the scenic Wind River.

There are 28 pull-through or back-in sites on gravel pads with easy connections to electricity (20/30/50 amp), water, and sewer for a daily rate of $48 or $55 for a waterfront view.

RV sites are generally level and situated out in the open with a picnic table and fire grill, while access to the internet is complimentary. The main drawcards have to be the sincere, friendly owners and Wind River, a free-flowing expanse of water inspiring anglers to bring home the catch of the day.

Restrooms and showers are pristine, and there are plans for a laundry and to increase the bathhouse space. They say location is everything in real estate, and this prime piece of Wyoming space is gifted with surreal views of the Wind River Mountains and the rugged terrain in between. The main road borders the resort on one side with the river on the other, but noise appears to be minimal.

Kids have a fun playground while dogs get their very own play park where they can enjoy a little freedom off-leash. Once they leave the park, it's on-leash time until they are back in the RV. Pet guardians are encouraged to supply litter bags and pick up their furry friend's waste. It’s nice to keep man's best pal at a distance from other guests who may not feel the puppy love and appreciate their quiet space. The great news is the family team is super pet-friendly and keen to hear from potential campers who might have questions in regard to their pet policy.

Get cozy at Windhaven RV Resort and look forward to discovering this snazzy part of Wyoming, where hunting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors is a magnet for extreme adventurers. Peak times are generally summer, rodeo season, and when the annual Day of The Cowboy takes place in Dubois.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
