4 Paws Park - Maumelle

The Four Paws Park in Maumelle, Arkansas is a decent size, about a quarter acre. It is fenced in and separated into two areas, one for dogs under 25 pounds and another for larger dogs above that weight. There is some agility equipment available, being a tunnel and poles from your canine to weave through, and an interesting hanging toy. The hanging toy is in the shape of a bone and hanging from the tree, allowing your canine to jump up and bite down, essentially playing tug-of-war with gravity.

Dog bags are available as well as garbage cans so you can quickly clean up after your canine. Water is also provided but in the form of a hose, so be sure to bring your dog bowl with you to the park. The park is also covered in natural grass, but the quality of the grass can be spotty depending on the amount of traffic the park is receiving. It can devolve into a good bit of mud after a good rain, so be prepared for your canine to come home a bit dirty. 

There are picnic tables provided for seating and trees line the park, providing some good shade during certain times of the day. It is grass and although it is kept short, remains grassy through the spring and summer months. The turf here is not dirt, but it is not too far from it. Your canine will likely get a bit dirty regardless of whether it is wet outside.
