Also on the grounds is the John B. Lewis Soccer Complex which is home to four soccer fields. Much of the complex is still in the development phases; however, future plans include hiking trails, picnic areas, disc golf, and a retreat center. Currently housed on the property is the historic Thomas Wolfe cabin as well as stunning lakes for swimming and fishing.Â
Within the large dog area rests a gazebo which provides owners with a restful spot to reflect while viewing their dogs at play. Bathrooms are available on the property for public use. Unfortunately, water is not provided. Owners are advised to bring a bottle of water and a suitable drinking vessel with them to help address Fido's hydration needs.Â
Access to this public space is free of charge. Complimentary poop bags are provided on the premises. Owners are required to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials in a prompt fashion. Though no official rules govern the use of this public space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. In addition to this, it is advisable for all dogs to bear the appropriate required state license tags on their collars. For a fun time in relaxing space, make a visit to Azalea Dog Park.Â
