Although Henderson has plenty of dog parks to choose from, The Bark Park at Heritage Park is pawbably the most well known and pupular. Since this park was designed using the feedback of pet parents and dog park regulars, it’s got furrific amenities that your pup will absolutely love!
At five acres, The Bark Park is the largest off leash play zone
in Henderson. Your furry BFF can check their leash at the gate and go wild! This park has three fully fenced areas. One of the enclosures has been reserved
exclusively for small, elderly, and timid dogs that can benefit from an
off leash area where a gentler play style reigns. Another is just for larger
dogs, and the third area is where dogs of all shapes and sizes can mix and mingle
together.
If your pooch isn’t playing fetch or darting around with a new
buddy, they can put their athletic abilities to the test on the agility
equipment. And if your pal needs a break from their tail wagging peers, take them for a walk around the paved trails. During the hot months, a puppy splash pad is
available. Dogs can cool their paws off as they run through the pawsome fountains.
Barkules is the large puppy mascot that welcomes all visitors to
this puptastic park. At six feet tall and 18 feet long, this pup dutifully
watches over the park and all of its visitors. This park also has oversized bone
benches where pet parents can sit and watch their fur babies have a ball. Water
fountains are available for both two legged and four legged guests, and there are
also clean-up bags readily available, so be sure to promptly pick up after your
pooch.
No bones about, an afternoon at The Bark Park will make your pooch
one happy hound!
