Located in the city's Edgewood neighborhood, this 92-acre site has not one, but two puptastic areas allotted just for canine residents and tourists. So grab Fido's leash and your car keys—it's time for a visit to Snyder Park!

If your pooch enjoys sprinting and sniffing alongside their furry pals, make a beeline for Bark Park, Snyder's fenced in dog park. With separate sections for large and small canines, this 2-acre facility gives Fort Lauderdale doggos a safe environment to stretch their legs and run off pent-up energy. Agility courses are available for athletic pups, who will surely have a doggone good time leaping over the jumps and climbing up and down the ramps. Bark Park also includes water fountains to keep Fido hydrated and dog wash stations for rinsing off muddy paws. 

Water-loving puppers wouldn't want to miss the Dog Swim, located across the parking lot from Bark Park. This area features a clean lake where your four-legged friend can practice their doggie paddle and cool off on hot days. Human parkgoers can leave their barkinis at home, though, as this swimming hole is exclusively for canines! Make sure your pooch doesn't drink the water, as some visitors have reported it to be undrinkable.

Whether Fido lets loose at Bark Park or takes a dip at the Dog Swim, always keep an eye on your furry charge and pick up after them; mutt mitts are supplied in case you forgot to bring your own. Both areas tend to get busy during weekends, so drop by on weekdays for a more peaceful experience. Weekday visitors get to park for free, too!
