Is your dog in the mood to hob knob with local canines in a gorgeous, serene park? Then pack up your pup and head to the Montgomery Township Bark Park!
Hidden amidst lush trees, the Bark Park can be a bit tricky to find. Just head to the northeast corner of the parking lot it shares with Assi Plaza and Santander Bank, and follow the short walking trail under the trees to this fully fenced-in pupperdise! Once through the double-gated entry, your dog can ditch the leash to romp with pup pals.Â
With an all dog section, and a sizable separate area for small puppers 25 lbs. and under, everyone can feel safe playing with similarly sized peers. Your dog will love all the open space to run and play! Doggie fire hydrants provide pawtastic spots to explore on the dirt and woodchip terrain, which is easy on the paws. It can get muddy on wet days, however, so having a towel in the car for a quick wipe down is a great idea.
Relax on a bench or at a picnic table while your pup zooms through this shaded play space, and enjoy the quiet getaway this furbulous park provides. Though only steps away from homes and businesses, this dog park is tucked away nicely in the trees. Water bowls are on site, but be sure to bring water bottles for your thirsty pup. And a trash can and clean-up bag dispenser make it a breeze to stoop and scoop! Be sure to leave nothing behind to keep this park puptastic!Â
As with any dog park, your pup should be up to date on their vaccinations, and wearing their city license tag on their collars. Keep the leash in hand while your pup runs free, and on your dog when entering and exiting the dog park, as well as on the walking trail to get there.Â
For a barking good time, your pup will love a visit to the Montgomery Township Bark Park!
