There is running water at the George Bellis Dog Park; you can get your canine water from a running faucet if you bring your dog bowl and you will be able to find restrooms for yourself at this park. The George Bellis Dog Park is quite a large installation itself. Surrounded by fencing, these open fields make for a great place to bring your canine to play some fetch.
Some wooden benches for seating line the walking path. There are no structures built to provide shade to anyone seated by some of the surrounding structure do incidentally provide some good shade during certain times of the day. Some of the trees that line the park could provide a little shade to those near the side of the park.
The George Bellis Dog Park is also a co-mingled dog park. What this means is there is no separate section for smaller dogs, and all the canines are brought into one big open fenced part. If your smaller dog does not do well with large dogs, or your large dog is not well trained and socialized with small dogs, then this park is probably not the best place for you.
The water that is available at the George Bellis Dog Park is at canine height, so you do not need to bring your bowl unless you want to. The Buena Park also has playgrounds, basketball courts, ample lighting, and a significant amount of space of being in the middle of town.
