Benton Dog Park

The Benton Dog Park is an off-leash dog park in Benton, Arkansas where the city pups can go and have some canine fun. The dog park has a small parking lot adjacent. It's close, but pups need to stay leashed until they're safely inside the pooch park. This dog park in Benton was designed with canines in mind. 

It has the compulsory chain-link fencing on all four sides to prevent them from escaping, trees for scampering around and lots of colorful agility apparatus to jump over. The grass is well kept and green which is something quite difficult to achieve in off-leash areas. 

This awesome dog park is organized into size related segments, so small pups can stay in their own unique compound away from the big dogs and don't need to risk getting trampled under the paws of the large breeds. Adults who take their human children to the dog park should remember that they do so at their own risk. 

A dog park is really not the place for children and dogs need to be able to let off steam without having to be cautious because kids have invaded their space. It's often hard for youngsters to understand just what dogs are doing when they are socializing with other canines, and they may be encouraged to shout, scream, or run after them which is not what they should be doing. 

The Benton Dog Park, or any dog park for that matter, is not a healthy place for a family picnic either so leave your food and drink somewhere else. Pooches tend to pee a lot when they're at the dog park; it's their way of communicating with other canine users of the facility. 

All that peeing makes an off-leash area pretty unsanitary for kids. It's also unsanitary if pet parents don't scoop the poop straight away too, both for humans and the dogs. All poop needs to be collected, bagged, and trashed, so the dog park stays as pristine as possible.
