Bentonville Bark Park was borne of a vision to provide a safe environment in which dogs could be socialized properly and enjoy off-leash play. With this in mind, the park is home to three fenced play areas including one for large dogs and one specifically for small dogs. It is not known what the designated purpose of the third run is.
Agility equipment is also provided in the enclosed areas for all dogs to enjoy. The Bentonville Bark Park website makes note that the large dog run is closed from June 1st through June 15th to allow the park maintenance team to re-sod the area.
This serene dog play haven is a public space that is available to all dogs and their owners free of charge. The Bentonville Bark Park designers have equipped the play areas with anything and everything a dog and his family could need for a day of fun.
Found on the premises are the following items: bathrooms, a potable water supply, and complimentary poop bags. It is the responsibility of all dog owners to clean up after their pets and properly dispose of their waste. For the comfort of all owners, benches are also situated throughout the runs.
The Bentonville Bark Park management team has implemented some rules regarding the use of the dog play areas. All dogs enjoying the park must have up to date inoculations for the core vaccines including rabies and an up to date Bentonville city license. Proof of the license, as well as identification tags, must be easily visible on the collar of all dogs.
This park reserves play area use for dogs who are spayed and neutered. Additionally, spike collars, food, alcohol, smoking, and glass bottles are strictly forbidden. Toys are also prohibited from the runs with the notable exception being tennis balls. Ready for some outdoor adventure? Bring Fido and the family for a visit to Bentonville Bark Park!
