Bernard Dog Run

Is Lulu licking those chops and eager to get outside for some play? Then why not take your furry friend to the Bernard Dog Park in beautiful Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania? This dog park gives the expression, “On the right side of the tracks” a literal interpretation since it’s located by a train track. Visitors have a pleasant view of a plethora of trees on one side of this medium park and might even see a train on the other side. 

Lulu will love playing around in the dirt and mulch and be happy that there are two separate areas for small and large pups. Note that this is a very basic park, and you will need to bring your own toys, and use the restroom before attending because you’ll find neither of those things here. But you will find a decent space and a high gate to contain your furbaby. Also, remember to bring a doggy bowl, water, and poop bags because there are none available on-site. 

Visitors and their pooches can hike on Riverfront Trail after getting in some fun, doggy play. So why not bring a hiking bag and fill it with supplies, then head out on a gorgeous expedition? Community members do an excellent job maintaining this park and keep it very clean. Volunteers even organize clean-up days for the park. Community members come out with trash bags and shovels to keep this eclectic space in tip-top shape. Volunteers also frequently rake up the wood chips. 

There’s a little shade on one side of the Bernard Dog Park, but most of this doggy area is somewhat sunny so don't forget your sunscreen.
