A massive property on the east side of Ben, located on Neff Road, Big Sky Youth Sports Complex is quite easy to find although it might seem like you are driving past the edge of town. The Big Sky Youth Sports Complex has numerous facilities that support a multitude of sporting activities such as mountain biking, walking, jogging, and other balling sports.
There is plenty of parking space in the area. However, they are not near to the actual Big Sky Youth Sports Complex area, so you have to walk for a few meters. It can also get crowded during weekends because of the various youth sports, so you might want to come a little early.
The playground has two regular swings, two infant swings and plays structures according to children’s age groups. Although there are a few picnic structures in the park, there is no individual picnic tables and benches. Although not meant for picnicking, it would have been great if there were places where pet parents can sit and maybe enjoy a snack while supervising their furbabies.
The Big Sky Youth Sports Complex Dog Park is in the middle of the area where the soccer and the football fields are, directly in front of field five. The park opened its gates in 2005, and it is unique in the sense that it has a dog poop composting system. There is a separate area for large dogs and another one for smaller dogs for safety.
There are dry and dusty areas, as well as grassy parts. There is a port-a-potty located in the area along with some fresh water and bowls for our four-legged best friends. A water fountain for humans is also nearby, so no concerns about being dehydrated here at the Big Sky Youth Sports Complex Dog Park.
The fenced, double-gated entry play area for dogs with natural surfaces and walking trails is an excellent spot for pooches to get their daily exercise and their dose of fun, as well. They can jump up and down and have the time of their lives exploring. The Big Sky Youth Sports Complex Dog Park is a wonderful place to enjoy nature with your furbaby.
