Cedar Bluff State Park warmly welcomes dogs to join their owners on the property; however, they must remain on a lead of no greater than six feet at all times. Dogs are not permitted access to any of the swimming areas. At this time, there is no on-site dog play area provided, and no drinking water is available for canine use.Â
To ensure Fido has a cool drink when needed, owners should bring bottled water with them from home. It is also important to note that all owners are required to clean up after their pets, and thus, should bring poop bags to assist them with this task. Cedar Bluff State Park is a public recreational center and camping facility.Â
Entrance to the premises is provided free of charge to all people and their pooches. The Bluffton Area is comprised of 350 acres of property. Housed on the grounds are boat ramps, campsites, shower houses, dump stations, picnic areas, primitive campgrounds, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, a BMX bike track, and opportunities for swimming and fishing.Â
The land at Page Creek Area, the southern portion of the park, offers 500 acres of more primitive style camping with the added amenity of bathrooms. The area is highly prized as the ideal spot for boating and jet skiing. It is also amenable to people looking to enjoy some solitude in a tranquil, natural setting.Â
Though it is not known if reservations are required for campsites, it is likely. It is also not known if there is a fee associated with a campsite rental. Dogs visiting Cedar Bluff State Park must observe all Kansas state laws.
