While the Pup Park at Chisholm Creek Pet Resort is a membership only dog park, this 10-acre plot of land is a doggy oasis! On the grounds of a boarding, daycare and training center, the Pup Park offers member dogs a fully fenced in area that is truly the cream of the crop of dog parks.
With a swimming pond just for the doggos, sand hills to climb, and tons of space to cavort and play, this is an off leash pupperdise! Featuring agility equipment for the sporty canines, and plenty of trees for shade throughout the park, the acres of green grass are pawfect for a game of fetch. Bring along a ball or a toy any time during park hours. It is unclear if drinking water is on site, so its best to bring some for your thirsty pup.
To access this pawrific dog park, you'll need to purchase a membership. A one-year membership is $295 plus tax, while a three-month membership is $150 plus tax, and both allow you to bring two dogs to the park. An additional fee can be added to allow 3 or more dogs. The membership is worth it if you are looking for a safe, healthy environment for your dog to run off-leash, play outdoors and socialize. If you aren't sure this park is for you and your dog, you can get a free day pass to try it out and decide. Visitors to the area can get paid day passes as well. Your pup will also need to be current on all vaccinations, and flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Unfurtunately, Staffordshire Terriers, Pit bull Terriers and Pit bull Mixes are not allowed to join.
As with most dog parks, you'll need to keep an eye on your dog, and a leash in your hand at all times. The park provides clean-up bags and trash cans near the entrance, so always be sure to pick up whatever your pup lays down.
With tons of land to explore, your dog is going to love the Pup Park at the Chisholm Creek Pet Resort!
