Description
Conneaut Lake Bark Park is a full-service dog care facility in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. This 68-acre property is home to three off-leash dog areas including one reserved for use by small, timid, and elderly dogs. Also available on the grounds are two walking trails, a 1/2 mile path which meanders through woods, a "Calisthenics Path," and a pond which includes a platform for dock diving which conforms to regulation standards. 

Among the other on-site services offered include daycare, boarding, bath stations, grooming, pet sitting, and a retail outlet. Conneaut Lake Bark Park is also proud to offer Therapy Dog training and bears the distinction of being the "home base" for Paws Hand Delivered Therapy Dogs. Conneaut Lake Bark Park is an idyllic dog play haven with all runs fully equipped with both drinking water and poop bags. 

The Bark Park is a private facility, and entrance to the premises is only permitted with the purchase of an annual pass. Park membership can be obtained for a fee of $100 which is valid for use by one dog. Additional dogs may be added to a family membership for $20 per dog. A lifetime membership can be purchased for $475. There are discounts available for seniors. 

Conneaut Lake Bark Park proudly supports all active and retired military personnel by offering free membership to all dogs owned by military families. Travelers to the area may purchase daily passes; however, day rates are available only to people who are passing through the area. At the time of registration, Conneaut Lake Bark Park staff require the following items.

A health agreement form that must be completed and signed by a veterinarian, a completed membership form, a negative fecal test, and proof of up to date vaccinations against rabies, parvovirus, distemper, leptospirosis, canine adenovirus, and bordetella. Not required but recommended are the following vaccinations: canine influenza and Lyme disease.

A temperament test must be completed in order for any dog to be permitted access to the off-leash areas of the park. A city dog license is also mandatory. All dogs visiting the play spaces must wear an appropriate flat collar. Pinch and prong collars are strictly prohibited. Also forbidden on the grounds are cigarettes, alcohol, food, or drink.
