Paragould, Arkansas located in Greene County is a great metropolitan area that is filled with colleges, schools, shopping and rural areas. Located with Paragould is Crowley’s Ridge State Park. Crowley’s Ridge is 291-acres of outdoor fun from swimming, boating, fishing, camping and even hiking. It’s an outdoorsman's paradise wrapped up with southern hospitality. It's the land of beauty atop a hill overlooking beautiful pines.
The park is great for fishing on the 31-acre lake that is stocked with bass, catfish and other fish. The park also features picnic areas, a dining hall, cabins, tent and RV camping, as well as trails to hike and swimming areas. Dogs are allowed in the park throughout the year and are free to enter the park provided they are leashed, have the proper license and registration and are cleaned up after.
Your pet should never be left unattended to while visiting Crowley’s Ridge. Keep in mind that dogs are not allowed in the building or the group facilities. Dogs are allowed on trails and in camping areas. There is even a nice dog walking area within the camping area. Crowley’s Park has scenic views of pines and cliffs, as well as waterways. It is a puppies paradise of new smells, woodland animals, and sounds.
