Daphne Dog Park (at Al Trione Sports Complex)

The Daphne Dog Park is next to the Al Trione Sports Complex in the city of Daphne, Alabama. This dog park is a spacious field which has been designated by the City of Daphne authorities as an area specifically for exercising dogs off their leash. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the dog park.

The dog park is fully enclosed with high chain link fencing and has two double gated staging areas. Owners are reminded that dogs must be maintained on their leashes until securely inside the staging areas. A section of the dog park has been reserved for use by small breeds weighing under twenty-five pounds. 

This does not apply to puppies under four months of age which are not allowed in the park. Large dogs may not enter the small dog section, but small dogs may use the large dog facility at their owner's discretion. Both parts of the dog park have a natural grass surface and the odd few patches of sandy dirt.

Pet owners are limited to exercising no more than three dogs at any one time. They are required to carry a lead for each dog when inside the off-leash areas. Owners should keep their dogs in eye contact and have them under competent voice control. 

All dogs must be fully vaccinated and licensed and be wearing the appropriate tags on their collars. No food or drink, including dog treats, are to be taken inside the dog park. It is strictly prohibited for children to play in either of the off-leash areas. Children entering the dog park must be accompanied by an adult. 

The Daphne Dog Park is equipped with water fountains and poop bag dispensers. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning all excrement produced by their dog and disposing of it responsibly in the containers provided on-site. This dog park is well maintained, and all users of the facility are required to help keep it that way.
