Don't be offended if your pup doesn't look back after you unhook their leash in Deer Valley Dog Park. This park will have them leaping for joy. There are three separate double-gated fenced-off areas, so pups of all shapes and sizes have a place. One section is for large dogs, one for the little buddies, and one section is always closed on rotation for maintenance. This provides dogs in the community a safe space to get some exercise and enjoy some pawsitive socialization in off-leash freedom. The sections are grassy and large enough for a full blown game of fetch.Â
During the dog days of summer, each of the sections have a shade area and doggy drinking fountains. If you would really like to avoid the heat, the park is open in the early mornings and late evenings too. There are waste bag disposal stations, however they are not always restocked, so it's recommended that you bring your own bags, just in case.Â
Your pupper is welcome to explore the surrounding Deer Valley Park with you, as long as they stay leashed. In this park, you'll find restrooms, a wide variety of athletic fields and courts, and pretty picnic areas. Please be sure to follow the leash rules and pick up after your pup wherever you are, so this park can remain clean and safe.Â
With all its woofderful features, Deer Valley Dog Park is sure to get your pup's tail wagging!Â
