Though it is not known if an area for use by small dogs is housed on the premises, dogs of all sizes and ages are welcome to join the fun. Off-leash activity is the focus of this park, and to this end, all dogs enjoying the playground must be dog appropriate and friendly. Owners must keep a leash with them at all times and leash their dogs to enter and exit the facility.Â
Entrance to Dogwood Park, a public dog play haven, is provided free of charge to all pooches and their people. The dog play area is well-designed with many amenities sure to benefit Fido and his favorite canine pals. Among the on-site features are agility equipment, benches, and a structure to provide shade. At this time, there is no drinking water available at this park.Â
Owners must bring bottled water and a dog dish with them. It is unknown if poop bags are provided; however, since state law mandates that all owners are responsible to clean up after their pets, it would be wise for owners to pack a few bags in their belongings before leaving home.Â
The entrance to the play space is double-gated to prevent canine escape artists from potentially bolting. Currently, there is very little known about Dogwood Park including whether or not bathrooms for public use are housed on the grounds.Â
Though there are no officially posted regulations regarding the use of Hudson's Dogwood Park, it is advisable for all dogs to be current on vaccinations and in possession of a city dog license. Park officials do not permit alcohol, cigarettes, or food on the premises. For a great day at a fun North Carolina park, bring Fido to visit Dogwood Park!Â
