Doyle Community Dog Park

This dog park is a large fenced section consisting of grass and dirt. Unfortunately the heavy use of this park stunts the potential growth of the grass, however, it is considered a popular dog park by the community. The Doyle Community Dog Park provides several amenities to patrons of the park. Water fountains, as well as structures which provide shade and BBQ grills to make this park visit a fun family affair.

This dog park is fairly small; however, if considered in comparison to other city dog parks it has a large amount of space to roam. The large section of this dog park is about one-quarter of an acre. There is plenty of room for games like catch and frisbee. There is also a separate section available for the small dogs. The dog section does have disposal bags available as well as garbage tins for you to place them in. The grounds are well maintained; however, they do ask that you clean up after your own canine.

Plenty of free parking is available at the main entrance to the park and the city does not require any fees or costs to visit or use this park. The greater park has indoor and outdoor sports fields and facilities. These may have additional cost and your canine is not allowed on any of the sports fields or inside any of the facilities. Water can be acquired in the larger park, however, there is no specific watering section for canines. Instead, you would want to bring your own dog bowl.

The Doyle Community Dog Park only allows your canine to be off-leash in the fenced section of the dog park. This park is not lit, however, they do say it is open 24 hours a day. Due to the lighting conditions and its location in the middle of the city, the city would recommend use only in the hours between sunrise and sunset.
