These areas are both fenced and while inside these fenced areas your canine may be taken off-leash. There are plenty of large trees that provide a lot of shade throughout the day. Located under many of those trees are some white benches for you to sit on in the shade. This park was provided by a volunteer community group called the "East Windsor Dog Owners." They provide the maintenance and raise funds if there are ever any improvements that need to be made.
Marked by a big red sign in the shape of a bone, this dog park makes for a great place to bring your canine and socialize with other dog owners. The gorgeous land and well-maintained grounds provide plenty of room for games of frisbee or fetch at high ranges. It makes for a great place to spend the afternoon and is beloved by the residents in the community.
This dog park does close for a short while in the spring to maintain the grounds and make any needed improvements. By taking this time, the East Windsor Dog Owners have been able to keep the grass healthy and green, instead of your often dirt and mud covered dog park. A large community of businesses helped build the dog park at no labor costs, making this an incredibly cheap and beautiful addition to the town and an effort from the entire community.
