This dog-friendly park boasts of a substantial play area located in a tranquil, shaded setting. However, it is important to note that though the run is amenable to off-leash play; it is not fenced. The play area boundaries are established through well-marked wooden stakes. Owners are asked to ensure their dogs are leashed coming both to and from the designated play space and to retain a lead with them at all times in case of an emergency.
This beloved off-leash play area is accessible to the public free of charge. It is unknown if bathroom facilities are available on site or if a potable water source is provided. For this reason, owners should carry a bottle of water and a suitable drinking vessel with them to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his day at the park.
Looking for an opportunity for Fido to explore nature? Why not take a stroll down the Four Mile Run Trail where Fido and his family can observe many different birds and varieties of plant life? While dogs are welcome on the trail, park officials do require that they remain on a lead when not in the designated off-leash dog section of the park. It is not known if complimentary poop bags are available at this serene park setting. However, it is required that all owners carry bags to assist them with picking up and properly disposing of their dog's waste materials.
Park officials require that all dogs visiting the park be current on vaccinations, including rabies. In addition to this, they must also bear the appropriate required state license tag. Electronic collars are strictly prohibited at this park location. Food of any sort as well as alcohol and cigarettes are forbidden on the grounds as well.
