Description

Exall Park is the kind of place that shows you what love and community spirit can do. What would otherwise be a simple park in the Bryan Place neighborhood of central Dallas has been transformed by the community into a beautiful gathering place. The Friends of Exall Park have worked closely with the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department to maintain and continuously improve the park. More recent developments include the installation of outdoor exercise machines along the trail that circles the park's perimeter. Other amenities include basketball courts, a softball field, grills and picnic pavilions, an indoor recreation center, and a playground. The park even provides free wi-fi!

Expect to see many other two- and four-legged visitors in this pupular park. Due to its central location near wealthy and working-class neighborhoods, major employers and business districts, the people who gather in Exall Park truly represent Dallas in all of its diversity. Mature trees lend equal shade and beauty to the people whether they stop here to take a quick business lunch or to enjoy a day-long picnic or barbecue. Manicured gardens and planters burst into bright-colored blooms for everyone in warmer months. If you're a fan of public art, be sure to check out Whimsy, the chrome owl who sits and watches over the park from underneath the trees.

If you like ceremonies and other public gatherings, Exall Park is your place. Tons of outdoor dog-friendly events take place here, including tree lighting ceremonies during the holidays and outdoor concerts in the summer. If your dog doesn't do well with all that fanfare, there's still so much to enjoy here. Your good boy or girl is unlikely to be the only dog romping across the expansive lawns of Exall Park and can come here to socialize and make friends. There's even doggie waste stations with bags and designated trash cans, though it's always a good idea to bring your own in case they run out.

Bring your dog to Exall Park to connect to the people of Dallas and feel like part of the wider community. It's easy to enjoy the simpler things in life here, especially the warmth of companionship.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
