There are a few obstacles and tubes for canines to run on. The grounds are also well maintained, and the grass stays green keeping your canine clean. For the canines that like such things, there is also a bright red fire hydrant in the center of the grass field. The hydrant seems to fit the ambiance of the place and is aesthetically pleasing.
The walking trails and vegetation abundant outside Fort Borst Dog Park also make for a fantastic attraction. You and your canine could walk through a few trails in the woods and wear yourselves out. These trails are of course not part of the fenced section, and your canine would be required to stay on their leash.
Dog bags are available at the dog park, but not on the trails around the park, so remember to grab a few bags if you intend to walk the trails. Your canine is not allowed on the sports fields at any time. The trees that line the park also have a high canopy and provide plenty of shade to the park during some peak times of the day.
Benches are available in the Fort Borst Dog Park for seating, and overall you will likely find this dog park a right place to spend the afternoon with your canine.
