Fort Worth started as an army outpost along the famous Chisholm Trail, but has since grown into a thriving big city full of commerce, entertainment and culture. The blend of artistic vision and business smarts is showcased in the Fort Worth Design District where office spaces, warehouses and unique storefronts mix and mingle in northern Fort Worth. Best of all for area pups, the Golden Triangle Dog Park is nestled in the middle of it all!
This puptastic dog park is the pawfect spot to let your pup run free. With separate sections for large and small dogs, your pup is sure to find similarly sized peers to play with. Each section features agility equipment for the sporty doggoes, and stone watering stations with bowls that cuts down on muddy areas while keeping pups hydrated. Grassy terrain is easy on the paws, and benches give you a place to relax while your pup has a blast.
Clean-up stations with bags and trash cans are located throughout making it easy to promptly pick up after your pooch. The bags can run out, so be sure to have some on hand, just in case. Parking is conveniently right outside the gates. There is a lack of shade here, so if your pup is easily overheated, its best to come in the cooler hours of the day.
Before heading to Golden Triangle Dog Park, be sure your dog is wearing a current license and rabies vaccination tag on their collars. Keep the leash on when entering or exiting the dog park, and everywhere outside of it in the Design District. If your dog is a digger, be sure to fill in any holes before you leave.
The Design District is quite dog friendly, and often features events for the community that leashed dogs are welcome to attend. Check the website for event days and times.
For furbulous afternoon in northern Fort Worth, bring your pup for a visit to the Golden Triangle Dog Park!
