Granby DOGGS Park (at Salmon Brook Park)

The Granby DOGGS Park is located at Salmon Brook Park. It is a designated fenced-in area where dogs can run and play off-leash. This beautiful dog park is surrounded by tall trees that provide shade. There are benches for pet parents to sit and relax while their dog runs around. 

Dogs that enjoy swimming or splashing around in water will have a blast at the pond. Dogs must remain on a leash until entering the specific area designated for dogs. Avoid allowing your dog to run around off-leash in other areas of the park. Before allowing your dog to visit the park, make sure you have a dog license and vaccination tags. 

Place them on your dog’s collar for security purposes and to alert the other pet parents visiting the park that your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations. You need to bring your own doggie feces bags to clean up after your dog. There are trash cans located nearby the park but be prepared to hold on to the poop bag until you can dispose of the bag. 

This dog park has plenty of space to play fetch with your dogs, allow them to run wild plus swim in the pond. It’s great for hot weather days and provides an excellent place for your dog to cool off. Bring along drinking water for your dogs, so they don’t drink out of the pond. A small bowl or portable dog bowl is easy to use. You can also bring along toys, balls, and a Frisbee. 

Overall, the Granby DOGGS Park is a naturally beautiful dog park that you can visit daily. Your playful dog will have a great time playing with other dogs, getting plenty of exercise, exploring nature and splashing around in the pond. As a pet parent, you will be able to relax and enjoy nature as well as watch your dog have fun and socialize with other dogs.
