Grist Mill Dog Park is a puptastic off-leash dog run in Alexandria that’s great for pups who love running around and meeting other dogs. Your pup will always have fun when they’re at this park!
Grist Mill Dog Park is about one acre in total, and it can hold up to 64 dogs. The park has one fully-fenced area where pups of all sizes can play together. The ground in the dog run is made out of crushed rock covered in a special blue dust that prevents mud. If you need to clean up after your dog, doggy bags are available in the dog run.
There are tons of trees throughout the dog run to protect your pup from the sun while they’re playing. Plus, the park also has two kiddy pools where your dog can splash around and cool off. There are also plenty of toys and tennis balls in the dog park for your pup that are pawrfect for games of catch!
For owners, Grist Mill Dog Park offers lots of shady benches where you can relax and watch your dog play. If your dog gets thirsty, there’s a water spigot you can use to fill up your dog’s water bowl. Be aware that this water spigot is turned off from October to April to prevent the pipes from freezing, so bring water during those times.
