Hampton Park Dog Park, housed on the grounds of the stunning family-friendly Hampton Park, is situated within Charleston, South Carolina. This beloved dog playground boasts of a medium-sized, fully fenced area where dogs can enjoy a vigorous run off-lead. This park was founded by a park management team with a passion for providing a safe space where dogs can enjoy regular exercise and proper socialization opportunities. 

The Hampton Park Dog Park, also known as Hampton Park Dog Run, welcomes dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds to join the fun in their on-premise enclosure. Many dogs parks now offer a fenced section for use by small, shy, and senior dogs; however, there isn't one at Hampton Park Dog Park at this time. Safety and off-leash play must go hand in hand, and for this reason, it is mandatory for owners to have a leash on their person at all times. 

Though dogs are encouraged to enjoy off-leash activity in the play space, they are required to remain on their lead in all other areas of the park as well as when entering and exiting the dog run. Hampton Park Dog Park is a public dog play haven. The park management team proudly offers access to their lovely dog playground free of charge. To ensure a great day at the park, the dog run is complete with many different features. 

There is ample seating located throughout this idyllic dog play space and plentiful trees to ensure it is well-shaded. Here, owners can relax and reflect in a quiet, tranquil setting. Water is also available on the grounds to keep Fido and his friends well-hydrated. It is unknown if bathrooms are housed on the property for public use or if poop bags are provided. Owners need to bring some extra bags with them from home to facilitate cleaning up after their pups. 

Hampton Park earns high accolades from visitors for its beautifully landscaped grounds. The property is characterized by oak trees and Spanish moss which are indigenous to the Charleston region, enhancing its Southern charm. In season, visitors may also enjoy the fragrant gardenias and magnolias. The park is also home to an information kiosk and beautiful water feature where ducks and geese love to gather. 

No official rules are posted regarding the use of this public dog play haven. However, vaccinations and a city dog license are highly recommended. Additionally, Hampton Park Dog Park prohibits alcohol, drugs, metal detectors, and digging on the grounds. No cursing allowed since the park has a strict policy regarding profanity.
