Harry Stone Park

Harry Stone Park is located in the Casa View neighborhood of East Dallas, and has something in it for everyone, including the family dog of course! The park is mostly known for its recreational center, which offers many opportunities for sports, events, and gatherings. While doggo’s aren’t allowed inside the building, the outdoor activities are plentiful on this 20 acre property. Dogs are allowed to join their humans in the outside green spaces as long as they stay leashed, under control and picked up after.  

The indoor recreational center features meeting rooms, gymnasiums, and fitness centers. The facility offers all different kinds of programs and camps for anyone in the family. Here you will also find restrooms, drinking fountains, and a large parking lot in front of the building.

Probably your puppers favorite part of this park will be the walking track and open grassy spaces. The walking track is approximately 0.6 miles, and encircles a large soccer field and baseball diamond. Here you can take a leisurely stroll under the shade trees, or add it to your morning run. Dogs are allowed to romp around on the grassy athletic fields as well, as long as priority is given to any sports. In this case, they are welcome to watch from the sidelines along with you.

The park also features picnic tables and grills, making it ideal for get togethers. If it’s just you and your best pal, you can find some peace and quiet under the trees to read a book or enjoy your lunch.

You’ll want to bring some supplies for your playtime with Fido! This includes waste bags, their favorite ball, and some tasty biscuits. This park is clean, safe, and family friendly, and by following proper petiquette, you can do your part in helping keep it this way.
