Hatfield Dog Park

Hatfield Dog Park, situated on the same grounds as Hatfield Community Park, is a favorite dog play haven in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. The two parks encompass 25.6 acres of meticulously landscaped space. Housed on the grounds are two fenced play areas suitable for off-leash activity. 

The enclosures are designated for use by bold or timid dogs to allow each dog the opportunity to play with dogs more in tune to their particular personality and play style, regardless of size. Though both dog runs offer off-leash play opportunities, owners must ensure the safety of all dogs by keeping a leash handy in case it is needed. 

Hatfield Dog Park proudly offers entrance to their public dog playground at no cost. Its runs feature benches and plentiful shade to allow owners a quiet place to unwind and observe their dogs having fun. It is unknown if water is provided at this quaint park or if poop bags are available on the grounds. 

To be best prepared, owners should bring bottled water, a dog dish, and bags from home. It is mandatory for all dog owners to take responsibility for all canine waste removal. Park officials gratefully acknowledge their cooperation in preserving a clean, attractive dog playground for all to enjoy.

Hatfield Community Park is a destination hotspot for families looking for a day of fun. Here, families can choose from a rousing game of hockey, basketball, or tennis, or even spend some time enjoying the pools and water slides at Hatfield Township's Aquatic Center. 

The Chestnut Street Trail, which consists of 1.5 miles of scenic terrain, winds through the property. For those who enjoy picnicking, there is a picnic grove, many tables, and barbecues on site for public use. Fido is permitted to join his family in Hatfield Community Park (with the exception of the water park); however, in these areas, he must remain leashed. 

Hatfield Dog Park requires all dogs visiting their playground to have a current rabies vaccination and city dog license. Dog tags showing proof of both must be visibly displayed on your dog's collar. For a day of fun for Fido and the whole family, take a trip to Hatfield Dog Park!
