Hidden Oaks Dog Park (at Cub Creek Park)
The runs themselves encompass one acre of land and welcome dogs to engage in off-leash activities. Though off-leash exercise is the focus of Hidden Oaks Dog Park, safety measures must be observed in order to protect the well-being of all dogs. A proactive approach is taken by mandating that all owners carry a lead with them at all times.
When not enjoying the designated off-leash zones, dogs are to remain leashed. Hidden Oaks Dog Park proudly permits entrance to their public dog play haven free of charge. A covered seating area is situated in the middle of the two runs, providing the ideal vantage point from which owners can view their dogs while relaxing. Poop bags are also available on the grounds for your convenience. It is the responsibility of all owners to dispose of all canine waste materials in the proper manner. Bathrooms are also available at nearby Cub Creek Park.
Cub Creek Park boasts of many great attractions for families to enjoy. The property is home to many walking trails as well as the nearby creek. Dogs are welcome to join their owners in both areas; however, they must remain leashed on the trails. Also on the grounds for families to enjoy are the following activities: baseball diamonds, a batting cage, concession stands, basketball and tennis courts, walking tracks, pickleball, community gardens, and a playground.
There are also plenty of available fishing areas and the viewing of many different wildlife species in their natural habitat. Picnic areas with barbecues for public use are also provided.
