Hillsdale Park Off Leash Area

Located in the fabulous region of Portland, you will find the Hillsdale Park Off-Leash Dog Area. This dog area is a great place to take your dog on any day of the week for some fun, exercise, and pure enjoyment. The overall park ranges at five acres, but the off-leash dog area covers around two of those acres. 

The Hillsdale Park Off-Leash Dog Area is a favorite within the Portland community, and some even claim it is the best dog park in the area. When you come to this dog park, you will find many amenities for enjoyment. The dog park is entirely off-leash, so your dog will have the luxury to run wild with their new furry friends without a leash on. 

The area also covers a ton of grass, has a lot of shade, and there are picnic tables to sit at. The Hillsdale Park Off-Leash Dog Area is an open area for all types of dog breeds. When you come to this dog park, you must follow all of the rules and regulations that are implemented by the City of Portland. 

All dogs must first be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before coming to this park, and female dogs in heat and young puppies under four months old must remain at home. Owners must watch over their pups and clean up after their dogs while they are in the area. All dogs must be well-mannered before coming to this park as no aggressive behavior is tolerated. 

Owners will be held responsible for their pet's behavior, and all dogs must play at their own risk. The park suggests that you bring dog bags and water as it is not provided at the park and most owners tend to need these for their dog. The area of Portland is lucky to have such an excellent park in the area.
