Nothing says fun like a playdate with pals, which is why the Horsham Dog Park is the place to be in Ambler! Lucky pups here can enjoy this furbulous doggie play space inside the lovely Kohler Park.
This 1.5-acre dog park is securely fenced and provides plenty of space for dogs to get their daily dose of leash-free exercise and socialization. With a separate area for smaller dogs that are 30 lbs and under, your tiny pooch can safely play with their own sized peers, while the bigger dogs can bound around the large dog section. Both sections give dogs large areas to explore, and the mulch terrain is easy on the paws.
When dogs get thirsty, water fountains offer hydration and a shower spout for a quick rinse off if needed, and is available in all seasons save winter. If coming during those colder months, be sure to bring your own! Several benches and shaded seating areas give pawrents great places to relax while watching their pups have a blast.Â
The Horsham Dog Park is lined with trees and is very well maintained, which is not surprising since there are community clean-up events organized every month, as well as plenty of strategically placed trash cans. Make sure to bring your own waste bags and promptly tidy up after your dog.
Once your dog gets out the wiggles, clip the leash back on to explore the rest of Kohler Park's 71-acres. Here, you'll find human restrooms, as well as picnic areas, a pavilion and gazebo, a fishing pond, a clubhouse, two playgrounds and several soccer fields. And with furbulous walking trails through the trees, and along the creek and pond, your dog can put that sniffer to work while you scope out the wildlife.
No bones about it, your dog will love a trip to the Horsham Dog Park!
