Hutchinson Dog Park

Hutchinson Dog Park, the vision of a group called Cause for a Paws Incorporated, is located in Hutchinson, Kansas. This two-acre property houses two fully fenced areas where dogs can enjoy off-leash play. The forward-thinking management team has organized runs specifically to meet the needs of the dogs who visit this play haven. 

One enclosure is reserved for use by dogs larger in size with higher exercise needs while the other is a designated space for small, shy, or senior dogs who would benefit from a gentler play style. Though both enclosures were designed with off-leash play in mind, owners are requested to keep a leash handy as a safety precaution. 

Both of the dog runs are comprised of grass, a surface which is kind to canine joints. Visitors to this public play space praise its tremendous beauty. Many visitors remark that if there were no signs posted demarking the property as a dog park; they would never have thought that dogs would be welcome in such a pristine and pretty natural space. 

Hutchinson Dog Park is pleased to offer access to their dog play areas at no cost to the public. There are many on-site amenities for both dogs and their owners to enjoy. The play spaces contain both water and poop bags. Housed within the runs for the convenience of all owners is comfortable bench-style seating. There are also shelters which offer respite from the hot sun. Public bathrooms are not available on the premises. 

Hutchinson Dog Park asks that all dogs visiting their runs be current on vaccinations and possess an up to date city license tag. Both must be prominently displayed on your dog's collar in addition to identification tags which clearly state your dog's name, your name, and all pertinent contact information. 

Glass containers, food, alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs are strictly forbidden at this dog playground. Also prohibited are rawhides, dog bones, and pig's ears. If Fido is looking for a new park to explore, Hutchinson Dog Park will fit the bill. Plan a trip there today!
