Julien Marx Dog Park (at Medal of Honor Park)

Julien Marx Dog Park is located near to Medal of Honor Park in Mobile, Alabama. Situated on four acres of land, this beloved dog facility is home to two fully fenced runs well-suited to off-leash play. One of the two enclosures is reserved solely for use by small dogs. 

Though the runs are designated off-leash zones, state laws require that all dogs remain on their leash when going to and from the play spaces as well as in all other areas of the park. In addition to this, owners are requested to carry a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency situation.

Entrance to this much-praised doggy play haven is free of charge. Operated by a group of dedicated volunteers, Julien Marx Dog Park is actively fundraising to make improvements to this much-loved property. Donations are gratefully accepted. Visitors to this doggy wonderland bestow high accolades upon it for its cleanliness. The park is also renowned for its spacious grassy play areas and beautiful landscaping. 

It is not known if bathroom facilities are available on-site for public use. However, there is a plentiful supply of fresh water to help meet all of Fido's hydration needs during his play time at the park. Benches are scattered throughout the park in shaded areas to provide owners a relaxing space where they can recline and observe their dogs at play. 

Also available on the property are complimentary poop bags to assist owners with cleaning up and disposing of all canine waste materials. Prong and spike collars are strictly forbidden. Park officials also prohibit alcohol, food, and smoking on the premises. 

In accordance with the rules for this public space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations and bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collars. For a day of fun you and Fido are not soon to forget, plan a trip to Julien Marx Dog Park!
