Lake Catherine State Park

Lake Catherine State Park is located in the beautiful region of Arkansas, providing local visitors with fun, adventure, and pure excitement on any day. This state park is a part of five lakes that sit within the Ouachita Mountains region. Catherine Lake is specifically known to be very quaint and relaxing for visitors that come to enjoy this region. 

At Lake Catherine State Park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your satisfaction. This park has the beautiful Catherine Lake and a marina that is open during the summer time. The marina has bait, fuel, snacks, and drinks. You can also find boat rentals at the marina. 

Lake Catherine State Park also has a pavilion, a boat launch ramp, picnic sites, playgrounds, and a trail that will take you to a lovely waterfall. Dogs can even come and visit this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay and not be allowed to bother other park guests. 

When you visit Lake Catherine State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Arkansas area. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. 

Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Lake Catherine State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in Lake Catherine State Park. 

If you wish to camp at this park, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be requested online or in the park's main office. Overall, this park is an excellent addition to the Arkansas area.
