Lake D'Arbonne State Park

The Lake D'Arbonne State Park is situated in Farmerville, Louisiana. Home to one of Louisiana's largest lakes at 15,250 acres, this beloved recreational center and camping facility is well-renowned for its stunning natural landscape and amazingly rustic pine forest. 

The land is characterized by hilly terrain which is fragrant from the verdant open grassy spaces throughout the property. Dogs are welcome to join their families at Lake D'Arbonne State Park, but they must remain on a lead at all times. Unfortunately, there is currently not an area reserved for dog play at this beautiful facility, and drinking water is not provided. 

Owners should take care to pack a bag which contains all of the items Fido could need during his time at the park including bottled water, a dog dish, and poop bags. Park officials require all dog owners to display responsible ownership by cleaning up after their pets.

Lake D'Arbonne State Park is a private facility, and entrance to the grounds necessitates a fee of $3 per person. There are a large number of options for accommodations at this idyllic retreat. Among them are the following: cabins, lodges, group camps, RV campsites, and primitive-style camping. 

Accommodations are by reservation only and are also fee-based. Lake D'Arbonne State Park is a haven of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Some of the most popular recreational opportunities are waterskiing, boating, hiking, biking, tennis, disc golf, and picnicking. 

There are a large number of nature trails throughout the grounds for Fido and his family to enjoy. Swimming pools are also installed throughout the property for public use. It is assumed there are bathrooms easily accessible to the public as well. Lake D'Arbonne offers excellent fishing, and its waters teem with crappie, bass, catfish, and bream. 

Lake D'Arbonne State Park supports Louisiana state legislature. With this in mind, it is mandatory for all dogs to be current on vaccinations and licensed in their city. For a great time at a stunning recreational retreat, bring Fido and the family to Lake D'Arbonne State Park!
