Dogs can also come to Lewis & Clark State Park with you, but they need to stay on a six-foot-long leash while they are in the park. During your stay, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Missouri State Parks System. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must stay back at home. 

Dogs must be well-behaved before they come to Lewis & Clark State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their adventurous excursions in this park.
