This furrific 26-acre park is situated on world-famous South Beach, and it has been featured in tons of different movies and TV shows. While pups aren’t allowed on South Beach itself, they’re welcome to join you on Lummus Park’s paved path, which runs parallel to the beach.
As you’re walking along Lummus Park’s walkway, you’ll go by lots of interesting sights you can check out with your pup. As you stroll down the path, you’ll pass a playground, volleyball courts, and a green space where you can go for on-leash runs with your dog. This green space is surrounded by palm trees that keep the area nice and shady. Plus, as you walk through the urban park, you’ll go by tons of historic Art Deco buildings, and you’ll walk by restaurants with dog-friendly outdoor seating.
If you need a break during your walk, benches are available throughout the park. There’s also a pavilion shelter where you can have a picnic with your pup. If you or your dog need a drink while you’re in Lummus Park, water fountains are available throughout the park.
One of the other unique things about Lummus Park is its state-of-the-art outdoor gym. This gym features two nature-inspired installations: MyBeast and Leopard Tree.
