Marymoor Park Off Leash Dog Area

The Marymoor Park Off-Leash Dog Area is part of the Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington, which is used as a dog park. This is no ordinary dog park. This is an incredible forty acres of countryside where pet owners can go to enjoy time with their fur baby off their leash. 

The dog park has two parking lots, and there is a nominal $1 fee for parking vehicles. Don't skip putting a dollar in the ticket machine because not paying the parking charge lands visitors with a $35 fine. The Marymoor Dog Park is maintained by SODA, Serve Our Dog Areas, which is a non-profit organization. 

Membership of SODA is not obligatory to use the dog park, but without the membership fees and private donations, this off-leash area wouldn't exist. For the privilege of being able to exercise a pup in this stunning dog park $10 a year or $15 for a family is not much cash to part with. 

This dog park in Redmond has field upon grassy field for pups to frolic through, walking trails down which they can accompany their pet parent on long hikes, and five places where they can jump in the River Sammamish for a swim. No dog could ask for anything more. 

SODA ask all pup owners using the dog park to use it responsibly. A dog needs to have had some basic training, so it returns when called. Forty acres is a lot of space for owners and pups to enjoy, so please don't encroach on other parts of the park which are outside of the off-leash area without putting pup back on its leash. 

There are supplies of poop bags at various points throughout the dog park as well as dumpsters for the specific purpose of disposing of them. Scoop every scrap of poop to make sure this piece of pup paradise stays what it is -the perfect place to exercise dogs off-leash in Richmond. Lucky pups.
