You will find picnic tables, picnic shelters, restrooms, a delta resource center, a fishing pier, RV areas, and so much more. Your dog can visit this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay.
During your time in Meaher State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Alabama region. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.
Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Meaher State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park.
