Water is provided here in the form of a spout inside the fenced area. Be sure to bring your bowl. There is also very little shade here. There are a few trees in the center of the fenced section however they are not large enough to produce any real shade. Seating is available at the Morrisville Dog Park, though it can be fairly limited.
This park gets a lot of traffic, and there are just a few benches here. Doggie bags are available here, and there is a garbage can placed at the entrance to the park. The grounds here are grass and stay very well maintained through the spring and summer months. Adjacent to the park is a pretty neat antique train, and there is also a small river within eyesight.
Your canine must be vaccinated and be wearing proof of vaccination as well as their dog license to visit this park, however, there is no registration or fee required. Several different groups and establishments came together to found this park, all through generous donations.
To keep the grounds well maintained and to be able to continue to host these community events, the organization in charge of this park is always asking for volunteers or donations. The organization is called the "Friends of the Morrisville Dog Park" or FMDP for short. More information regarding how you can get involved can be found on their website.
Overall, the Morrisville Dog Park is a fantastic addition to Morrisville and quite the benefit to the community. If you are looking for a place to socialize your canine or partake in some fun activities in a canine-friendly environment, then the Morrisville Dog Park is where you should be looking.
