And don't forget to clean up after your puppy pal because there are poop bags conveniently located at the dog park entrance. Rufus will love zooming through the tunnels and enjoy this spacious off-leash park. He will also like playing with the rocks and exposing those happy canine teeth as he happily frolics in this safe fenced-in area.

This is Mount Vernon's only dog park, so you're bound to see some locals. Whether you're a morning person or a night owl, you and Rufus will be able to go to this dog park that's conveniently open from 7 AM to 10 PM. After Rufus lets out some energy at the park, you both should take a stroll on the bike and walking paths nearby.
