Natchez State Park

Natchez State Park sits near the old historic area of Natchez, providing all visitors with a historic remembrance of the civil war and pure recreational fun. This park also has recreation history beyond being near the area of Natchez. In Mississippi history, the largest recorded bass was caught in the river here, ranging at 18.15 pounds. Now, people come here from all over hoping to catch something just as significant. 

When you come and visit this state park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your enjoyment. There are different campgrounds, cabins, lodging, picnic tables, picnic pavilions, a playground, a boat launch, trails, and availability for hiking, fishing, disc golf, and so much more. 

Fur babies can also come and visit Natchez State Park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time in the Natchez State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Mississippi State Parks and Recreation System. 

Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. 

Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park. If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's main website or in the park's main office. The area of Mississippi is lucky to have such a beautiful park in the area like Natchez State Park.
