When you come and visit Nolte State Park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. This park has biking trails, hiking trails, horseshoe pits, a visitor center, picnic tables, picnic shelters, and availability for wildlife viewing, bird watching, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, boating, and so much more.
Dogs can also come to this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time at this park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the park region. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the Nolte State Park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.
All dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Nolte State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park. If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation.
