North Dog Park
Alhough both playgrounds welcome dogs to enjoy off-leash play, owners must maintain a lead with them to ensure the safety of all dogs. Both play areas are equipped with water access to keep Fido well-hydrated as well as poop bags. Owners are expected to assume all responsibility for canine waste removal. Benches are also installed in the enclosures where owners can recline and unwind while they enjoy watching their dogs cavorting with their favorite canine pals.
North Dog Park is pleased to offer access to their dog playground at no cost to the public. Though the fenced play spaces have much to offer dogs, Fido is also welcome in the larger family-centric North Park although he must remain on a lead while you are there.Â
North Park's property is home to a 65-acre lake which is conducive to both fishing and kayaking. Also available on the grounds are a golf course, swimming pool, ice rink (in season), baseball diamonds, a nature center, a hockey rink, and copious hiking trails. The stunningly beautiful Lake Trail is a favorite amongst visitors to this picturesque park space. For families looking to enjoy a picnic lunch on the grounds, shelters are provided on-site.Â
Amateur photographers and professionals alike will want to bring along their cameras as there is much incredible scenery to capture on film. There are no specific rules posted regarding the use of North Dog Park's enclosures. To protect your dog against the spread of disease, vaccinations are encouraged.
